Shoe String was formed by a group of Mothers in 1992 with the objective of raising money to help pupils who are going on to professional dance college.

In the past it has been possible to give donation of £500 to the girls leaving the school as we have had some very enthusiastic parents who have helped with fund raising. Our next fundraiser will be our 'Choreography Competition,' which should be held in November. The last time we held this event it was extremely successful. It also proved to be a wonderful experience for pupils who hand not previously performed in festivals. Both adjudicators John Linfield and Sidi Scott have already asked if they can return, as they enjoyed the day so much.
